New aramiths coming with updated technology

Another new ball technology?? When does it all end - pool has become so much like golf in the last ten or so years.

How did Mosconi ever run hundreds every day with those old crappy balls and cues?

Better to focus on doing right what we do wrong instead of looking for some magic bullet. I know I sound old but so many golfers went through drivers, putters and golf ball technologies without any change in their game.
Marketing is a wonderful game in and of itself. :);)
Golf is successful and the pro’s make a shit ton of money. We could only hope our game becomes more like golf.

You always seem to type what I’m thinking. Couldn’t agree more! Stop the madness and let’s play pool.

if the fools fall for it it just makes them more money.

look at the millions made by billiard companies selling gadgets no one needs.
chalk, cue scuffers, special tips etc.

and the billions made off of average golfers who buy putters every year and new clubs also most years. always falling for the tv ad on how it makes them better.

if they didnt buy all the crap and instead invested their money, then they no longer would be a working stiff from 50 on.
and would be enjoying all the things they wasted their dough on.

Yes there are a lot of gimmicks, especially in static field sports like pool, golf, tennis, shooting, etc.

There is a small point to be made that in sports with high visibility like basketball, baseball, especially soccer and football, there is training equipment that the teams use for legitimate improvement, specifically made for training.

A football team that just trains with only a football is at a disadvantage.

Practicing requires effort no matter what. But practicing with brute force alone isn’t as efficient than it is to take advantage of proper equipment available.

Also, the equipment won’t do the work for you. This is quick fix mentality and where people get lost.

I am not a fan at all of that 100 logo on the cueball, very distracting. Hopefully it's just a marketing thing and not the actual design they are putting on all of them. Maybe if it was tiny and added in a few spots like the measles ball it would be better. If it's the final design, IMHO it's as big of a mistake as the black set design.

Looks like they are doing some big upgrades. They just have a counter on the site with some details, no pics yet. Please for the love of God make the colors standard.
They can do whatever they want to make the ball run straighter and open up better (especially for straight pool) as long as the make the five ball ORANGE and the four ball PURPLE and the seven ball MAROON! Yeah I know I've been down this road before small town not much to do in the evening!🎹🍾

And make the maroon dark. Whenever I'm shooting Predator Arcos balls, the red 3 is dark and the 7 is lighter. Different lights, some colorblindness, and numbers on only one side of the ball, and I don't get the instant recognition of seeing a yellow 1 or green 6. Their purple 4 usually stands out nicely, especially compared to when the 2 and the 4 are both darker colors. I honestly think adjusting the brightness of the traditional colors is the best option, although I do like the black and yellow 9 ball for 9 and 10 ball. I'd stick with the white and blue 10. They both are easy to differentiate that way.
