I got my new Schmelke break cue today. It is 19 ounces and 60 inches long with a 13.25 tip and a break taper and their quick release joint. Has a brown phenolic butt cap, joint caps and ferrule with a White Diamond tip.
The butt is rosewood and the shaft is purple heart. A good looking cue and the work was well done. I am impressed with the cue and price was very reasonable.
I did about six good 9 Ball breaks before dinner. It spread the balls out well and I made a ball or two each time. I managed to run one of the racks and a better player would of ran more of them due to the good spread.
So here I am with a good break cue, good playing cues and still struggling to run racks. Woe is me....
I'm not buying a carbon fiber shaft or any more shafts, I have good shafts and good playing cues. Maybe it is me. But, I will keep trying and winning because there is not much competition in my little Alaskan hick town.
