New burl table score.

Just picked up this burl table from a winery in Sebastopol. The owner in his 60's said his father cut it down and him and his brother sanded in down when they were 15. Looks like madrone I was told but owner said it was redwood burl. It's 36x30x 1-2". Willing to trade or sell. Shipping is around. $80-150

Any ideas what kind it is please advise.
