I've been interested in Tulipwood for some time now and finally decided to have one made. This is the result - completely hand made (no cnc used). It's not what I would call perfect, as a result, but I think it has turned out well and first impressions as a player are good. Going out for a 2nd impression tonight.

One odd thing about the cue is the length of the wrap. It's quite a bit shorter than what I thought of as standard...and on a cue a little longer than normal. You can see how it compares to my Steve Kornele cue.

It doesn't seem to detract from playability, which I'm quite happy with. I just wish it has occurred to me that wrap length needed scrutiny. I would've asked for a more normal size.

No big deal, ultimately. I still like it.

I kind of like the unique length/look of the wrap...plus I'd rather see the extra tulipwood anyway. I have a tulipwood Joe Baker cue that he allowed me to help him make, for my wife. It plays pretty sporty.
Enjoy that cue sir. I like it.

Thank you.

Someone else enjoyed seeing the extra wood, as well.

Ultimately, I am a guy that likes uncommon things. I think the look of this cue qualifies, barely, and it plays well too. I will definitely enjoy it.

I do like the unique look of the cue and wrap combination. I never pay attention to the wrap while i play, the only time i notice is when its sitting on the table.

I had a Coker in Tulip wood that had great characteristics and feedback.
