New cue purchasers

I also noticed after Evan Clark left Schon the new designs of LTD, Elite and Unique's were not as good.

Talked to the cue company and got butt cap changed, but the cue came back a 1/2 ounce heavier I had to change out the weight bolt back myself. Why didn't you return the unfinished shaft when you returned the butt or did you order it after your initial disappointment in the quality from this mystery cue company?

Like several others I don't understand why, if you want to be helpful, you won't post the dealer and manufacturer. What's the point?
 
The best Schon cues were actually made by Bob Runde himself.
Evan Clarke was next in the best quality Schon cues but still 2nd.
Schon cues after Evan are just lesser quality regardless of the price.
 
I understand how the old timers think that the older made cues, shafts and tables were of better quality. I'm a geezer myself and can relate.

But all these posts about Schon is a bit unfair. The OP never mentioned the brand or dealer. Saying "S" is totally meaningless. Back it up with facts. Photos and correspondence or it's nothing but a big fat troll.

And yes I own two Schon cues. But neither are my playing cue. I just believe in, "facts before acts".
