I got to meet Dennis Cash last night. I had heard his name before, and really did not know we had a 3rd Curemaker here in Wichita. Dennis has been making cues about 4 years, and told me it is his 'retirement thing' he is going into. He was playing in the Wednesday night advanced league, so I got to spend some time with him as the league is match play, and he had to sit for awhile.
I got to look over about 5-6 cues of his, and there were some nice ones. He just got his website up, and needs to get more pictures of his cues on there. His best work is not on there yet. He sold a Bacote cue, with CoCO and Ivory inlays that I like a lot last night. The cue with Burl was also a very nice cue. He made a cue for a good friend of mine, Bob Verville, with the cutest matching jump cue that had Ivory inlays in it (Jacoby style jumper with finger grip). It was the best LOOKING Jump cue I have ever seen.
His Cues also reminded of Jacoby. Most of his cues are a flat faced joint. You might check out the specialty Knives he also makes. They are pretty neat.
