Greetings,

I will be Steve Urate Custom Cues representative here in the USA and on our forum. I have received three new cues today. I am located in Florida, and all cues ship from my home. We will be taking custom orders, in which I will collect $0 from any customer until I have the cue ready to ship from my home. I will attempt to attach a drawing of one of the cues currently in production so you can see an idea of how the process works.
The custom cue orders have an introductory price.

Wrapless Spalted Tamarind with Birdseye Maple forearm and Butt sleeve. 6 points, three high of Curly Narra with a single green veneer and three low of Roble (Central American Hardwood). The butt sleeve also has boxes of Curly Narra with a green veneer. Nice ringwork in all locations. All White you see is ivorine.
Butt: 14.6oz 29"
Shaft: 4.1oz 29" 13mm+
Joint: Radial Flat Face Ivorine (not Uniloc, this is the pin that Edwin Reyes used)

Cue #2 $385 or OBO/Trade$329.00 OBO and will include a second shaft! SOLD!

Kamagong Butterfly cue with 4 points of Amboyna Burl with Red and Natural veneer. Matching design on butt sleeve as forearm. Joint and Butt cap are Ivorine, the diamond inlays are elephant ivory. Textured leather wrap. Nice Ringwork in all locations.

Shaft: 3.9oz 29" 13mm+
Joint: 3/8x10 Flat Face Ivorine

Philippine Cocobolo cue with 6 points / 3 high and 3 low of Curly Saple with black and natural veneers. Diamonds of Curly Saple in the butt sleeve.
Nice Ringwork in all locations. All White is Ivorine.

Joint 3/8x10 Flat face Ivorine.

Special Order Diagram

Good Morning,

Here is a screen shot of a custom order, sorry for the blue tint, just how it photographed, makes the points look blue when they are actually purple.

Also, I have been building cues with Steve since 2007, so this is not something new for us. Steve took some time off from cue making for family and is ready to get back to building custom great looking and playing cues at better than production cue prices. I use the Ebony and Ivory cue he built me in 2007 as my regular player.

Good Morning,

I have had some trade offers for cues, I realize the market is soft and am willing to take cash offers to get these cues into players hands. These are great, solid hitting cues. Trades for a custom case 3x5 or larger are welcome.

The builder of these cues, Steve Urate built cues prior to 2010 under the name Vhante Cues and also worked under his uncle Jenor Urate "Ronej Cues" Lets get some great players sold.....cash is king, made some offers!

Just a 48 hour bump with price reductions and will also ship with a second shaft (Ringwork is 95% match since these were made after the cue was already built. Interested parties I will send a photo of the two shaft collars side by side).....I need these sold, I have my designs coming in soon.

Glad to see Steve's work back on the market again. I have a super custom that he did for me about five years ago - "VHANTE" at that time. Tons of ivory, back when one could still get it. His blues are electric, the hit - just awesome.

These cues are worth way more than the asking prices. Tell Uncle Jenor hello.

Thanks Tony! Here is the cue he made me that started my addiction in 2007, Lots of Ivory! Have had many different cue makers through my hands.....this one I always go back to.

Jenor is actually close to you, living in Canada now.

i get so many compliments when playing with my vhante cue that i must choose a table way back in the pool hall to avoid disturbance :grin:

plays great too, a friend made a 100+ straight pool run first time he used it.

looking forward to see his new cues.
