I can't stop buying.

Left to right.....

Cue 1 - Murrell. 3 points in birdseye maple and 3 butterfly spliced. Cocobolo forearm and cocobolo handle. Birdseye maple buttsleeve.

Cue 2 - Murrell. 12 point in holly. Veneers is in ebony and holly. Handle and buttsleeve is all ebony. The joint, ringwork, and the hoppe ring is phenolic.
Not heavy at all with all that ebony...he was still able to make it under 19 oz for me.

Cue 3 - Murrell. This is the same design as the one I sold to Pharoah68. This one has amboyna burl forearm and an awesome piece of amboyna for the handle. Birdseye maple for points, 4 high and 4 low. Veneers are natural, orange, blue. Ringwork is made with the same combination of woods. Wood joint too.

Cue 4 - Carmeli. 8 points in amboyna burl, 4 high and 4 low. Ivory and abalone for inlays. Ringworks is done with small ivory inlays too. Black irish linen.

Cue 5 - Carmeli. 6 points in snakewood, 3 high and 3 low. Buttsleeve is ebony also and some snakewood. Black irish linen wrap.

Cue 6 - James White. 5 points in amboyna burl. Curly maple handle. Amboyna again for the buttsleeve. All inlays and Bushka style ringwork is ivory. The joint is phenolic...will be sending it back to change it ivory though.

Hang on and try to slow your spending! We are forming an AZ intervention group and will save you! The group's name is Re$CUE.... and it's theme music is "Shaft".

We will get there soon. In the mean time, try to stop sleeping with the cues in your bed... that is a critical first step....

Already Eddie-

Now you're just being cruel! I mean, you knew how much I loved the look of that Murrell you sold me and you know how much I love burl so, what do you do? You go an post pictures of the same cue with a burl forearm and burl handle!!! Damn you!!!

On top of it, you know my obsession with Mottey and White so you go and post that burl James White!!! Damn you again!!!!

On the serious side? Those are some truly beautiful pieces of work you have there. I may just have to break my 'Nothing but Mottey and White' clause and go straight for that Murrell!!!

-Congrats!

Thank Brian,

I just got the burl handle one a week ago. I didn't have it back then. Didn't mean to upset you with the Murrell.

But, I knew the reaction would come when you saw the White.

I'm probably going to do the same thing...concentrate on Mottey, White, Tascarella, Murrells, then just 1-2 Searing (since they are so hard to come by) and 1-2 Tad ( since they are so expensive)

When I meet up with Roger, come out and I'll bring out the cues.

Great! I think I'll be there tonight I think.

I have a 5 veneer White in the mail and I'm in talks with Paul now for another Mottey but, unfortunately I won't have 'em with me. But I'll have the other usuals!
