New Custom Cue Website

My question to him is WTF does his old guy with a house cue have to do with these two fellas opening their cue business? That "need inventory" comment was BS. Then starts about some old guy and a broomstick and WTF does that have to do with anything? Serious players blah, blah, blah whatever.

Well if 59 is old than he is an old player. But as I said he was a Gold Medal Winner this year in Senior Olympics, and that says a lot for his playing skill.

Point was the slogan, “CUSTOM CUES FOR SERIOUS PLAYERS” was taken as if you don’t have a Custom you are not a Serious Player. The above mentioned fellow is a Serious, and Great Player.

A Cue Collection is nice but I personally do not see Cues as Investments, as to me investments are a Home, Stocks, Mutual Funds, and other things that have a record of going up in value.

Also you can give a Poor Player, a $10,000.00 Custom Cue and it will not turn them into a Pro Super Player 1, 2, 3. Like they all of a sudden were hit with Magic Ability.

You can give a Pro Player a House Cue, and they will still play like the Pro they are.

The New Site has some GREAT PHOTOGRAPHY, as I had a chance to look at some of the other makers this a.m. Like I said the two makers who's work I like to look at listed, but there were No Capone, or PFD’s on the site yet.

I appreciate the Art factor of a nice Cue, but will in all probability never spend in excess of $1,500.00 for a Pool Cue, as I just do see the need to do it. Plus think there are a lot of great value that play well for a whole lot less money.

Think I made my point for those who did not get it the first time. ;)

All falls in the catagory of nonsense that has nothing to do with anything. I'm guessing, but I think these two guys could care less about your cue stick buying philosophy or that some "older" gent you know plays well with a HOUSE Q (BFD)

Actually I think the whole thing comes down to this...

You can be a serious player and not be any good...

or you can be a great player and not be serious :)

Joe

I never heard it put like that. Very good indeed. It explains my situation. I am a pretty good player, (not great ), and not serious. I love the game and use it to relax. The only game I am serious about and want to win is the Game of Life.

Blackcreek with curly maple forearm and ebony points with ivory spears???

Where on your site is this cue?

If you would like to order a Blackcreek just give Jamie a call 513-850-4210.

He would be glad to help you in creating your own personal design.

We have an order going in anyways so turn around shouldn't be too bad.
