I just took delivery on a cue made by Josh Treadway, and it is absolutely fantastic. I feel I should acknowledge that I have known Josh for years; I consider Josh a friend, and I hope he achieves all of his aspirations in building cues. While I may be a bit biased, there is a growing body of pool players (especially in St. Louis, Missouri) that think Josh's cues hit great. I would like everyone to know what he has done in building my cue.
First, I gave Josh precise measurements for nearly every portion of the cue, and he matched them perfectly. When I called with stupid questions about one thing or another, Josh was always polite, informative, and accommodating. Second, right after I got the cue, I wanted to alter the shaft taper, and Josh eagerly got that done and the cue was back to me in less than 24 hours.
In building this cue, Josh met or exceeded my expectations at every stage. I am thankful to have Josh as part of the pool community in St. Louis. Josh recently became a member of the ACA, so If you are in the market for a new cue, before you make a decision, consider getting a cue made by Josh Treadway of Treadway Custom Cues.
If you want to test one of Josh's cues out, Josh is at most Midwest 9 Ball events at Shooters in Olathe, KS or The Break in Cahokia, IL. I think he will be attending the Allen Hopkins expo, or you could come to St. Louis, MO. However, you should be careful coming to St. Louis, MO; many of us are changing to Treadway Cues, and we don't miss now
