New Dynaspeheres Set

Bronze look the same as the Vanadium except the CB. I thought you were talking about the Challenger😎 so the new CB cost an extra $24🤣

maybe the kids or someone plays when he isnt around.
or you got a counterfeit ball from wherever you ordered it from.

but it is easily remedied just buy another cue ball.

and why would you buy a low line set of balls in the first place.
Bcuz the hall I play at doesn't have drop pockets and I knew those ball returns would play hell on a nice set over time. Plus I'm a cheap bastard.😁

you are not the one being attacked here. the ball is. and some think including me it was something that did it you probably couldn't realize.

it either came that way, very possible.
or something in the table chipped or scratched it
or someone else when you were not there or not looking did something that caused it.

in any case the cue balls have been very good and not seen a problem like that.good to know.
That's good to know.

Exposed nail somewhere in the table is what I've been told had to be the issue. Makes sense to me, either on the pocket backing or in those damn returns, where my chalk always goes to die.😢

yea but the object balls which go in the pockets dont have those chips or do they?

and why is your cue ball going in the pockets. it isnt suppose to.

They may have them, but their web sites don't show them yet. I'll see Omega this week at the Expo and maybe they will have them.

Original Bronze set had a CB with no triangles. Vanadium CB has one. I have a Bronze set with an added 6 triangle cue ball. On one break at the tavern we play league at, the cue ball was launched off the table through an open door (it was summer time and the AC wasn't keeping up) and into the parking lot. After many bounces on the concrete the 6 triangle Dynaspheres CB had no marks on it whatsoever.

This is something I don’t understand. I watch players, and I use the word “players” loosely, that can’t make 3 balls in a row, buy every damn CF shaft offering at $300-$500 a pop, $25 chalk, a $700 jump cue that you MIGHT need once every blue moon, and every other overpriced accessory available. Then the same people are the ones looking for bargain basement priced ball sets, the one area where buying the best is a good idea. One of life’s mysteries 🤷🏻‍♂️

It just so happens that the best in this case (Dynaspheres) is the most affordable. There's nothing "cheap" about them.

Exactly. Why spend a lot more when you don't have to? These new balls at 130bux will play every bit as good as A'mith Tournaments that are 300 bux extra. Hell buy two sets and you're done for life.

people buy accordingly to marketing not true value. and certain balls have been touted as the best. so that is what the gold standard is even if not the best or just the same as.

pool cues, balls, chalk etc. is all the same ball of wax.

some people also just like to collect balls so less expense is always appreciated

That money must be reserved for their new cue purchase. Obviously, they are not there to collect balls.
