New Forum Category?

Since CTE and other aiming systems are becoming such a hot topic around these parts, (there are 4 or 5 threads on the first two pages of the Main Forum alone right now) is it time a category is created solely for those who would like to discuss them?

This would potentially serve an even greater purpose, which is to keep those who only intend to badger those threads with insults and arguments away, so that actual conversations can be had. I've gone on record saying that I have no desire to learn CTE or anything like it right now, so call me an impartial third party.

I know I speak for others in saying that too often these threads get bumped way off track because an overwhelming argument breaks out, or a pissing contest ensues. Separating these threads from the Main Forum could serve to create an atmosphere more conducive to constructive conversation. Thoughts?

Hmm, weird. A CTE thread that didn't spark some kind of controversy. Maybe I'm onto something

you are on to something alright you &*()*(^%

Just didn't want you to feel left out! :D :D :D

My first thought was that we need all of the genuine pool related threads we can get on the main forum, my second thought was a quiet side forum where people could discuss things civilly has a lot of merit.

I don't know, I've been interested in CTE for ages but more and more as a little information leaks out it seems to be a solution for a problem I don't have.

Why not call the new category AIMING TECHNIQUES, and we can be done with it.
That way, it all stays in one spot, and people who don't know how to use the search function, can go look all that stuff up, instead of just asking yet another question about CTE, and setting off the inevitable chain reaction of garbage.

Exactly what I am driving at. Well put. It could be a subsidiary of the Main Forum, much in the way the Raffle section is an extension of the Wanted/For Sale forum.
