Hello! I started playing back in 2003 or so when I was 18. I played for several years mostly hanging around Pool Sharks, Cue Club for a while and later on, Mickey's (for those of you who know the area). I got more serious about the game when I came across an old Viking cue that played like a dream, and I began practicing and upping my skill level and actually became pretty decent. I mostly shot training drills and practice games, but I rarely turned down a money game and played in a few tournaments around town. In 2006, my truck was broken into and my cue stolen while on a quick pit stop at my parent's house for dinner, and that was pretty much the beginning of the end of my playing. I tried for months to find my stolen cue and I tired to buy a new cue, but several deals feel through and I eventually moved to Colorado and the game slowly slipped from my interests. Well, six years later (and back in this crap town) I realize how much I love playing and how much I miss it. I played a bit here and there over the past few years and every time I played I regretted giving it up, but never really thought much of it until now. I went to play the other night and really got my head back into it like it used to be and it was a good feeling to see I still "got it" for the most part. But the house cue was pure torture- Like playing with a mushy wet twig pulled straight from the trash... 
So, I found me a steal on a nice new Jacoby custom, and cant wait for it to get here so I can start playing again! It's good to be back. I will probably be hanging around Best Billiards most of the time- I haven't been there but based on what everyone says here I'm really excited to check it out. I was spoiled in Colorado with a clean room and really well-kept tables (even though I went there only two or three times), so I love a nice clean room with nice equipment and good people. If anyone in Vegas wants to get together some time, let me know. I could use a few shooter friends- Especially ones that can kick my butt and teach me a good thing or two along the way.
