New game idea

No doubt. Part of the problem is that pool tournies don't have enough staff to properly officiate matches. Does pattern racking happen at the Derby? Turningstone? I've not kept up with such matters in a few years.
Don't know. Haven't heard any big complaints about it.

Wing ball in the corner, one in the side does get tedious to watch....
Yes and it's not new, I just watched a US Open match between Varner and Sigel and the wing ball went on the break every game of the match ...21 times in a row and Grady and Buddy the commentators, didn't care for it either. They had even moved the head spot up about an inch or so and it looked like they were breaking from the box and it still went. The only thing moving the sot u did was to make the one go up to the head of the table every time.

Didn't Donnie Mills make balls on the break an insane % of the time in that crazy rack your own 9 ball match vs. SVB some years back? That didn't pass the smell test to me, not saying anyone was cheating or anything, just saying that the game seem flawed with wet break percentages that high.
