Thank you for your interest but the cue has been sold.

I will delete the post in a day or two.

Thank you AZB.

**************

I had this cue listed elsewhere on AZB and I can no longer find it.

This cue was made by Gus for Lee Boyer who was famous for taking pictures of the best pool players surrounded in shadows.

The last picture is one of photos Lee is famous for, not that I deserve it but Lee took a picture of me, unfortunitly I could not find the picture after I moved into a new home.

Lee ever played with the cue because of health problem.

**************

The butt weighs 15.9 ounces, one shaft weighs 4 ounces and the other shaft weighs 4.1 ounces.

I think the cue is 58 inches long and the shafts are 13 mm. I will confirm the shaft diameter and length when a friend can measure them.

Before we complete our transaction I will ask Barry Szamboti to confirm that his father made the cue.

I have the cue on eBay for $25,000.

Unplayed new fancy Gus? This may be the most impressive cue to ever be seen for sale here. Do you have any documentation on the cue?

No but when the cue sells I will contact Barry so the buyer will know he is getting a real Szamboti.

Amazing cue. Just as a suggestion, if you plan on contacting Barry after it sells, you may want to consider doing it now to help your sale. A lot of folks won't buy a Gus or Bushka without authentication.
