Cue & Cushion is proud to add our first heated 3 - Cushion table. A Soren Sogaard 5 by 10 table. As far as I know this is the only heated 3 Cushion table open to the public in the St Louis Area. Come by today to try it out!

I posted that picture on several websites. So many people have emailed me with that very question!

Thanks Jean. You are St. Louis County's first male supermodel! Continued success on your modeling career. Glad you liked the table. We have had a lot of good feedback so far.

Is that the Cue and Cushion at this address:

And do you also have 3 unheated Brunswicks as well?

Yes.

We did have 3 unheated Billiard tables at one time. About 5 years ago? Guessing?? . Went down to 2 Brunswicks and took out the last one to put in the Soren Sogaard. We have a Brunswich Balke Collander table about 100 years old still. We took out the one from the 60's. We had a huge Korean group that came in back then so we needed 3 tables. When a Korean restaurant put in a Billiards room we never had the crowd anymore. They bought our third table.

I first heard of a HEATED 3 cushioun table only recently.
Could someone explain the difference, and some background
of the two.
Thanks Mike L.
I have never played this game, but I would like to try it

A heated table is supposed to give you a little more distance or speed. I'm guessing that in Europe and Asia where there's limited HVAC climate control that heat was the solution to eliminating the moisture in the cloth during the summer and warming the rubber during the winter.

Personally is see very little difference regarding speed/distance with or without heat. The proper rubber and a solid/heavy table is the important thing for speed as well as accuracy to the systems, given the balls and cloth are CLEAN. In this country polished (not waxed) balls and clean cloth along with European rubber you'll find little difference although slight advantage regarding speed. If you're playing between 9 and 11 rails, which is very likely the wrong shot, the added speed/distance from the heat may help make that shot.

Dirty balls dirty cloth? Good luck heat or not making 10 or 11 rails.

Sorry for always harping on cleanliness but few realize its importance to play this game. So many shots are just not available playing in a sand box.

Just wanted to update the thread. The new three cushion table has become one of our most popular tables. Even bringing in new customers that have never played on one before. Its been a great investment. Now people are complaining we dont have two...lol. Guess thats a good thing.

Plus all the Korean ring games that take 4 hours are on there now. Tonight it was empty by 8pm tho. Go figure.

I've seen that table first-hand. Last time I was there, the table appeared to have been booked in advance! At any rate, there was a small line of people waiting to get on it.

@C&C: do you have a 7ft/bar table that is not coin-operated? Thanks.
