ok azers. most of you have seen my other threads trying to sell or trade my 1983 richard black. well the good news is it is still for sale. the bad news is i have new info about the cue that i am not happy with or proud of. in my previous threads, i stated the cue was straight together and apart. however, that is not the case. after a potential trade went south and i got the cue back, i took it to the pool hall to roll it and inspect it. i am now disappointed to say that nothing is straight. all 3 shafts and the butt have a very slight roll. this does not effect playability but definitely worth mentioning seeing as how i never noticed it. maybe it was like that when i bought it from a friend, maybe it happened when i shipped it to the potentila trader. im not sure. i never remembered there being any roll when i initially got the cue. but it is what it is and there is nothing i can do about it. so, that being said, i will now offer the cue for sale for $840 shipped. i would really like to get this this sold. please pm me if you are interested.

its not being broke thats got the cue at this price. its the fact that the cue has a slight roll.

I think he means he wishes he wasnt broke and could buy it. That's how i interpreted it anyway, since i feel that way...lol

Where was the cue shipped to for the entire cue to have a roll out?Do you think it might of been there before but you never inspected it that close?Really great cue but odd that a cue that old just suddenly goes wonkie.

i believe it was probably there before. like i said in the post, i never inspected it that good to begin with. i just assumed it was in better shape. but this is the last time i will bump this thread. if no interest by wednesday, then i will just keep the cue. if nobody wants it, then why bother selling it. price drop to 1000 shipped.

Kudos for your honesty. I wish you good luck with your sale and hope that
you get home for Christmas.

i have never been anything but honest. i even stated in this op that i apologize for stating everything was straight. like i said i ASSumed it was. the fact that the cue has roll is not a huge issue. it is still very good playability wise. i was winning 10 ball matches yesterday with it. if someone wants a nice cue that has some roll to it, this is it. 1000 shipped is pretty fair imho. i have no problem keeping it, i also have no problem going home. it would be nice to have some extra cash, but i dont NEED it. so for those of you hoping i will price drop to 300 shipped, you can forget about it. not saying that since i quoted your post its you, i am just talking in general. so 1000 shipped til wed then this cue will no longer be for sale. thank you.
