Gorgeous custom pool cue by renowned cuemaker Jim Vest. 18.5 0z. 12.75 mm. Sleek birdseye maple forearm features black points trimmed and highlighted with stylish purple accents. Butt sleeve features two-tone pattern with unique inlays. Wrap is black leather for maximum grip and feel. End cap contains initials JV for authenticity. Flat ivory joint connects to virgin shaft with slight taper and smooth finish that has never been hit or sanded. Tip is original and has never been chalked. A buddy of mine plays with a cue made by JV and he loves the way the cue plays.

This one looks great and the price is really attractive. What's a test shaft? Is it a
shaft originally made with this cue that has been only test hit? I think if you included
the cue's specs (weight and shaft sizes) it would help this sale opportunity.

Sorry about forgetting the specs, the weight is 18.5 oz and the shaft is the custom size that Jim makes, which feels like about a 12.5-12.75 mm. The test shaft (or whatever you call it) matches the cue and was the one used to test the cue's playability and basically has never been play and is new as well except its been hit to demo the cue.

Pretty dumfounded this cue is still available. It has a sweet design and great specs.
FYI, I tried my buddy's Jim Vest cue a few weeks back & I was plesantly surprised.
