Schick cue

I was there when Bill deliverd the cue at VF. I think it has found the perfect home.

Now if you could talk Jamie out of his Ebony, Snakewood and silver Schick you would have the perfect threesome.

Yeah, Jamie and I have already talked about the three cues together and how they would be a perfect match. Jamie has a "pretty" tight grip on that one, but who knows?? Weirder things have happened.

Good to hear from you Matt.

Take care, Jimmy

The lighting came out perfect for these shots.
Awesome results and a pair of cues that compliment one another very well.

Thanks for posting these pictures and looking forward to seeing what you will be playing with.

Thanks, Myron

My pictures have been turned out relatively well. The funny thing is I have know idea what I am doing. We bought my daughter a small Olympus digital camera for her birthday. Around $200 bucks. But boy, does it take great pictures. One thing I have found out is that I take much better pictures outside.

As far as my new player, it will be a relatively simple 5 point Ginacue. Nice flame veneers. Rosewood points and butt sleeve. The shafts are like brand new. Smooth black leather. Will post it when I receive it.

Another sweet deal from Bill Grassley. (thanks)

John Wright truely created the market for Bill's cues as he did for many other cue makers, including Southwest. I must admit most of Bill's 4 axis cues I find really boring. This cue is truely stunning in its subtlness and elegance. If there were one JW cue I could own, this would be it!

Thanks for the compliments

Thanks for the compliments. I am definitley a fan of Bill's older style cues.

I have a very fancy cue due to be done in a few months. It will be traditional but fancy in the forearm. The butt sleeve will be a swirl of his 4th axis design. A mix of ivory, silver, ebony with the focal point being black mother of pearl. Extremely complex. Bill promises me it will be spectacular.

Anxious is an understatement.

Your pictures do a lot more justice for the cues. Whatever you are doing needs to be passed on. Simply awesome results with a beautiful beautiful pair of cues.

Glad to know they fell into your lap,
Myron

out of all the jw's i have seen i would pick this one in a heartbeat. absolutely perfect design and contrast imo.

Wow, more and more I really like that snakewood. I seen a really nice Dan Dishaw snakewood cue I fell in love with but I think this pair is even more impressive. Nice looking cues man!!!

Does anyone have any snakewood Scruggs by any chance? I would love to see some pics if they do. Post em' in this thread here...

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I have always loved the snakewood and ebony combo. The silver and ivory just adds to it.
