Well, I have finally finished my jump cue. I have been using it for the last couple of weeks. WOW, does it ever jump!!
I wanted to make a jump cue on my own, incorporating some things I liked about other jump cues on the market.
I am by NO means a cue maker, but I am happy with the result.
Using the dart sroke, I can jump a full ball from about 1" behind.
The total length is 43". I wanted it a little longer than a standard jump cue because of my height (I am 6-2). I dont know what the weight is. I have no way to weigh it, but it is lighter than my Lucasi jump cue.
I cored the butt 4" in, at 5\8".
The joint I changed from that old ugly screw, to an alluminum pin and insert as you will see in the pictures.
I know it is not perfect, but I am happy with it, and it performs very well.
