See Kamui has come out with a clear bridge head. Just wondering if anyone has had an chance to try it out and what did you think. As always a bit pricey, it is kamui.
Tired of some of the junky bridges our local room provdes.

I bought this a few years ago when it was called the Mako bridge and was made by the original inventor.

It's a great bridge and the clear plastic helps me get down on shots and make some really thin cuts when the CB and OB are both down table.

That being said, I can't imagine buying this bridge at whatever price Kamui is going to be seeking.

The Kamui Leather bridge is great for never marking nor scuffing your shaft but JustaBridge
is the coolest bridge design to use. I have both and I still do not like using a bridge but I do.

I have one and I would definitely buy it again.

It's clearly "pun intended" a quality product and it looks great too.

Nice thick acrylic that is super smooth and won't scratch your cue or snag the cloth in any way.

It even comes with a nifty little pouch as pictured below so it won't get scratched if you throw it in your case.

Buy one, you won't be disappointed.

These are really cool looking ........pretty novel.
Since I burnish all my cue shafts using leather,
using a smooth leather bridge had more appeal.

Thanks, Kamui does seem to be a little high on their products, but I have never beeen disappointed with them. Think I'll go ahead and get one, thinking about it if I was still a smoker wouldn't even be a cartoon of cigs.

I can see through that pun...

I’ve owned one recently and the first time it got laid over and hit an uncarpeted bar floor it snapped in half. It did sit snug on a std. 13mm shaft, w/ Smooth edges and finish. Proper cue height placement. Works just as any other less expensive non-transparent bridge head.. It works fine but very expensive just to be ‘clear’. Keller just a would be a better value if looking for something high-end otherwise, leather or lined bridge heads as well. I also Didn’t like it much running a REVO shaft through it (sound & friction).

The beauty of the Kamui leather version is it will never shatter, crack, chip, scratch nor fade.
It takes up very little room, has a travel pouch, easy to remove and place on any house cue.
I also thinks it comports well with Kamui's image as a manufacturer of their own leather tips.

And a complete ripoff of the Tiger Corona bridge head.

must be some nice margins selling that plastic piece of crap

Yes. Exactly.
Probably costs .40 cents to manufacture, then sell it for 40 bucks....

My favorite bridge is the justabridge by a long shot.

I've had mine since it came out and it still operates exactly the way it did on its first day.
Plus because it has that cloth like material it feels like it has the same resistance as going
through an open bridge with your fingers. Not super slippery, just enough.

+1 on the Keller’s Pro Justa-Bridge. Also serviceable with replaceable felt.
