Introducing "Divine Intervention"

Here is a cue I finished off recently. This cue represents my first work in olive wood and I have to admit it brought back memories of my grandpas wine cellar due to the smell of olive wood in there. I wish I could have preserved the smell of this because it is truly fantastic.
This olive wood was purchased from Jerusalem and its certified. I have no clue why but it came stamped with a seal of approval from the church. I really enjoyed building this cue and named it " Devine Intervention" in reference to the olive wood used and the constant desire of pool players to get lucky every once in a while. The Devine Intervention of making the 9 on a random Bs shot.
The cue design was inspired by the low figure of the forearm. I wish I could of got a more figured piece like the butt sleeve but that is all I could get my hands on. So I decided to make the focal point of the cue the segmented wrap area. I like how the cue balances out from a esthetic point of view.
For those that like a heavier cue this one is for you. The cue came in at 20.5 oz and its not adjustable ( no weight bolt). Although its heavier then the standard 19 oz it's still balance right at the top edge of the handle giving it a good solid feel.

Length - 60 inches split even.
Weight - 20.5
Woods used - all stabilized - olive wood, Jatoba , Black and White Ebony
Rings - silver - black - stitch ring- black - silver.
Pin - SS 3/8x10
Ferulle - juma
Tip - Kamui SS
Tip diameter - 11.75 mm
Taper - straight for about 13" then slow conical.
