Next week begins a new league season at Amsterdam Billiards in NYC. Spots are still open in the leagues. We offer Team 8-ball, Team 9-ball, Straight Pool and Individual 9-ball. If you're interested in playing please e-mail me at chris@amsterdambilliardclub.com.

All leagues will now be BCAPL sanctioned and the winners of all leagues will win airfare to Vegas for the Nationals!
 
For those who are looking to join a league in New York City metro area, you're doing yourself a disservice if you never checked out Amsterdam.

I've been playing in Team 8-ball league for the last two and half years. Next week will be my 8th season coming back, and its a no brainer when I compared it to my other league options. Especially in NYC, where all the different leagues end/start their season roughly at the same time.

Last night, it was nice coming back to the start of a new season of Team 8-ball and see all the new equipment upgrade; all the tables recently reclothed with Simonis, new balls sets (Aramith Super Pros TVs), new racks (Delta 13 Elites), and new Dufferin house sticks.

New cloth + new balls + tight racks = explosive breaks, with wing balls slamming into the pockets.
