my new letter said the first letter was right and that this other letter is going to be coming with a new letter later on so we could finally get paid, so to recap,(deep breath) the first letter was right in the fact that the second letter followed it,then the third letter, or was that the fourth letter confirmed that the 3rd. letter was expired and now the sixth letter which was talking about the 7th. letter(not here yet) is gonna be the same as the 6th. letter with further details on payment. ok, i feel better now.

"This means that IPT players will be receiving checks for the World Open tournament next week. Since President Bush signed into law the bill outlawing online gaming in America, our initial financing package 'IS' lower than originally contemplated. This shortfall will be made up at the IPO and through other initiatives."
Receiving checks and being Paid In Full might be two different things. It all depends on what the definition of 'IS' is.... imo

What's clear as a bell and plain as day is that pesky little word "shortfall". IPT players will be receiving "checks", not "their checks", just "checks". Hey, a check is a check is a check, right? You won't get "your check, in the amount earned", but you'll get a check, and a load of rainbows and lollipops when the as-yet-vaporous "IPO" goes through.Smorgass Bored said:

He had it in writing on his website that players would be paid after every round & that didn't hold water. Then he had it in writing that players would be paid on the last Sunday of the tournament and that didn't hold water.... You're not mistaken, but then again KT has been.....wahcheck said:
