In the mail on Wednesday I received the newest addition to the small collection in my possession. It has 6 points, 3 short and 3 high with the 3 high points having recuts so it is really a 9 point cue. The points are Redwood Burl, I forgot the name of the forearm and buttsleeve wood but I am sure Mike will chime in with the correct name.

Sorry for the crappy pictures, they really don't do the wood justice. The wrap is also another fantastic example of Mike's work, this one being lizard. It has a great feeling, not too tacky but not slippery with a unique texture. Hope you enjoy the pictures, the cue hits like a dream on top of everything, it came just in time for my birthday. Thanks again Mike, you have really outdone yourself on this cue!!

Got your message Mike........asshole. Just kidding, the forum only lets you post pictures that are 100kb or smaller, which is pretty small. I have a 5 megapixel camera which should create decent pictures but they lose quality when you shrink them.

I don't know how to post bigger pictures, if you can teach me or have someone else teach me I will most definitely put them up. Let me know, thanks.

I thought you would get a kick out of that message. Bruin is the master at pictures. To bad though, the character of that wood is beautiful.

You can post big pictures by using an image hosting site like www.photobucket.com, then linking the URL's back here and enclosing them in
. You have to shrink the picture to fit on a single screen. This can be done with MS-Paint (which comes with all Windows) under the menu items "Image->Stretch/Skew." Pick a small percentage like 20% to 40%, and make sure to use the same % chosen for both X and Y axis.

I agree. I believe I've seen that piece before it was turned, beautiful wood. Nice choice to match it up with.

Now get some good pics up... Try photobucket or imageshack
