The problem was that the adjustable weight was loose and needed to be properly tightened. The Predator P3's have a very cool adjustable weighting system that allows you to create a range of 30 .1oz fine grain adjustments with only 8 different weights.

The vibration type sound I experienced was due to the weight cartridge not being tight. Sent it back to Ira for an easy fix. I had the cue back in 3-4 days. The cue remains a very good choice for me. Thanks, Ira
