hey just to let you know. I was at the local Borders today and found the new reprint of the minn. fats book "the bank shot and other robberies". It is a good book at a good price.

It's a terrific book, easy to read, and traces the evolution of the pool hustler in fascinating detail. One word of caution: after reading this book for awhile, you WILL start talking like Fats...it's inescapable.
 
I didn't know there was a reprint coming out. Looking at Borders.com, the cover says there is an intro by R.A. Dyer. The price is under $10.00 too.
 
I bought an original hardcover off E bay....Its a good book but its totally written by Fats perspective...Which would lead you to believe he was the greatest pool player ever......He might have been the greatest Hustler, Games Maker, Con Man, Woofer ever but pool player I doubt it.....

Of course you only have to play better than the guy you are matched up with:D
