Yep

500 could be an insult, too. At least when I consider the quality of the Petree I got lately.
Can't believe there shouldn't be anybody sniping it for 750.

The guy offered what it is worth TO HIM. What I've heard about Petree Cues it is in fact worth more than that, but not to him.
 
Thanks for the comments guys. Having asked for offers, I don't suppose I can be offended by what comes at me. I don't blame anyone for trying to snatch it up... after all, the hard part in business is to BUY right. Selling is easy from there.

The cue has sold and (so you won't have trouble sleeping) it did sell for more than $500.
