I played in Seattle years ago, a place I think called the 211 club. Supposedly one of the oldest pool rooms in the country.

I don't know how people fade the table time. Everything that high in Seattle?

211 was before my time- not sure about it being one of the oldest, but I've heard it was a great place for pool players.
If you want to see it a good portion of the movie "House of games" about con men was filmed there. I remember my wife and I were watching the movie and she says hey I remember that place, you played that Chinese guy there all night. In fact when they're leaving it's right on the door.

Well Seattle has lot of high paying jobs, so I am sure local will think rates are ok.

We should wish the owner luck.😀

Looks awesome. And looks like the owner has done a great job securing partnerships & sponsors.

If one digests the full details on rates & membership, I don’t think its too crazy high. Peak hipster date night hours are high, which is perfect. The membership discount, happy hour and after hours access/rates are reasonable IMO. Seems like an awesome higher end hybrid membership/fees model that addresses multiple market demographics. If you haven’t noticed, the pool ROI/revenue biz model is uh, challenging.

Best wishes to Ox Billiards, I’ll definitely stop in next time I’m in Seattle.

Interesting that they opened so close to Garage, which also has quite a few 9-foot tables if I remember correctly (although nowhere near what Ox's quality will be). I'm guessing they're going for a different customer base; anyway, if I ever go back into the office this place isn't that far away so I'll definitely be paying a visit. Best of luck to the owners!!! :)

it's not easy here. real estate is jacked up, businesses struggling and these guys open up a pool room?
there's over 700,000 people here but the closest thing to a real place had to move a half hour away
prices are high to me too, but I'll still support when I can..owners are good folks, and the room looks good
