New pool room in Columbus HAD potential.

There used to be a place in Springfield, MO with Red felt. I have been in Pinkies in Vegas before and believe me the pink is much easier on the eyes than red. Green, Blue or Gray should be the only three colors sold to pool halls IMO.

There's a Pinkies in Vegas aswell....and with bright pink cloth....

I was there about a year and a half ago, and thankfully they had recovered the tables in green. I think it's closed now, tho.

The first couple hours you play on it you have a headache but it goes away after a while.

Was that one of the "Pink E's Billiards" joints that originated in Las Vegas? One of Denver's franchises closed, the other is still open in a strip mall on the northwest side of town.

The music and clientele are about what you'd expect from the decor... yeeeesh!

Have I been twitter patted?

Would I know it if I was?

Being a hetrosexual male would I like it?

Can you, or anybody, describe "it" without getting banned?

Thank you in advance:)

Hello,
Over here in the UK most pool clubs are run by Rileys (a big chain of cue sports clubs). Every pool table in the newly-refurbished clubs has a purple cloth on it except for the odd club with "pro tables". Rileys Victoria (London) which is the best-run club in the UK does have 2 Brunswicks with blue Simonis on them but you have to pay £15 an hour to play on them (yes, that's almost $30 with the current exchange rate)! You folks don't know how lucky you are from that point of view! Of course when it comes to snooker tables I expect the reverse would be true. Supply and demand I suppose and snooker is still the main cue sport here.

Thanks,
Chris (Chrstc).

Not sure if you have or not but I would bet yes!

Yes to your orientation --twitterpatting is not prejudice

It can be described easily without getting banned but it holds several meaning to different people. twitterpatting is in the eye of the beholder

I can say that Bared Naked Ladies liked Feeling Twitterpatted

Heck even Bambi was said to have twitterpattered

There is also a place of the same name in Vegas off the strip across from the Rio. They also have that horrid pink cloth. It does have a effect on your eyes. As far as the headache; I thought it was from the booze.

Hi,
Yeah, I expect our ISPs charge more than yours. Still I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else in the world that's for certain. If I have to play on purple cloths all the time then so be it I guess!!

Thanks,
Chris (Chrstc).
