We went through our stock this week and I ran across this BRAND NEW, UNCHALKED Predator 314 Uniloc shaft! It has no silver ring or black collar (see picture). These shafts are considered of better quality by lots of players than the current 314-2 shafts.

$220 most for brand new especially uni-loc, they are anywhere between $150-$200max based on condition. i picked up a brand new predator sneaky 4 point cue with that exact shaft for $380

those are realistic deals, i cant remember the last time a shaft brand new worth 200 had a 200% appreciation in a matter of a few years. Not bashing on your asking price, you asked for offers, i threw out a number and you said it wasnt "Realistic". you have the right to ask whatever you want, heck you can ask $1000 dollars for it. thats your right. but if you are asking for a "realistic" offer and expecting something over $200 that already isnt "Realistic". and i dont think everyone wants to lowest deal possible i just think people want a price that is somewhere close to "MARKET VALUE" anyways good luck with sale bud. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

For your feedback. I can appreciate that. Though you found some auctions on Ebay, there are some differences. None of the shafts or even the cue, are brand new, unchalked.
The shaft I am offering is a 314 shaft, not a 314-2. Players are searching for these older shafts because they are considered of better quality than the current shafts.
What makes this shaft valuable is that it is brand new, never used, unchalked.
It has been aging like a good wine in our storage, so to speak ;-)

This shafts are monster shafts. I have 2 and I won't part them for 1000$. The construction is way more solid than 314-2. Not so much of LD which it makes this shaft a strong laminated regular with a little bit of deflection properties.
The price he's asking is for an antique which it is.
I don't see any broken rules here except of making fun of a seller on his own thread.
And yes, it's a rule for price that says the seller is the one who decides it and nobody should bash him for this.

The guy can ask whatever he wants for his for sale item and its not OK for people to question it. If they are interested and the price seems too high, they can PM him about it. Not make detrimental comments in his FS thread.

What many fail to realize is that they do not make this shaft any longer. It was made here in the US, not overseas. They are of supposedly better quality than the ones made here.

Also, they are extrememly hard to find in Brand New condition, hence the increased price tag.

All the ones on eBay are either 314-2's or used. Not a fair comparison to what is FS here!!!
