I am anxious to get some Slipstic and try it out. There are MANY occasions, especially in the summer months, when pool rooms are extremely humid, and I can see where Slipstick will be of great assistance.
Some pool rooms in my area now prohibit the use of powder. Slipstick would be a GREAT product to have handy in one's case, especially during the hot and humid months of summer (IMO).
At the U.S. Open last year, Jimmy Reid had to play one of his matches on the TV table. I can't remember who he was up against, but he ended up losing. After the match, he kept stating how hot it was under those bright lights of the TV table and that he was unable to use powder because it clumped up. The 1985 U.S. Open champion ended up having to change his bridge hand because of it. I'll bet a bottle of Slipstic would have been a godsend to all of those players in the TV pit.
I am wondering if this product would be of assistance to players whose hands sweat profusely. At the 2003 U.S. Open, Jeremy Jones had to wipe his hands between each and every shot, which I found out later was because his hands do sweat, making it difficult to stroke the ball at times. I bet this product will help players in a variety of ways.
JMHO, FWIW!
