Neat idea, but I dont think they will fit in some cases. Mine has a top that covers the tops of the cues very tightly, the bigger peice will not fit. Why not make them the same height?
 
they are nice, but.....they are too long for ALOT of cases and forget about it with 60" cues. I like the concept and quality from what I can see in the pics but I'd bet thet only 20% of the cases (over 30) I have they are too long. best of luck.
 
I'm willing to say the length of these is just an optical illusion. Your joint pin is a certain length, and the aluminum looks to just cover that- but the taper is playing with your eyes. The shaft protector with that bubble will fit fine. The other is a little longer.

My problem is my cases store butts flipped the other way, joint pin down., and that JP would most certainly cause issues.
