New sflTAP site.

Looks good, but how does it play?

Hard to make comments on a web page without playing...like looking at a cue, might be pretty, might be plain, doesn't mean much until you hit some balls with it, you know?

Speaking of cues, I think your page would benefit from some pics or illustrations of billiards items: cues, balls, racks, whatever to more clearly communicate that this is a pool-oriented site - ?

For example (and not meant to be prescriptive) the whole page could've been laid out like a pool table. Or, using a vertical menu, separate the menu items with pool cues.

Similarly, it doesn't say "Florida" to me. Maybe the pool cues should be hitting oranges, lemons, grapefruits, and limes, or...or, the colors could be more Florida like pastels (e.g. teal)? The red, whice, & blue colors of your site say USA and patriotism to me - which are fine, but you aren't recruiting for the armed forces here...

Hope you find these thoughts helpful, not carping. And, good luck with the site!

^ That's what I was looking for. Yes, it deffinetly needs some more then just a clean layout and colors. I took some pictures at the last TAP event 'round here - and some of random people (with permision). The pictures havn't come out to clearly, it's hard to get good pictures with a 5MP sony cam of almost anything in the pool world - so I might have to just illustrate those pictures. I've also got some pretty good illustated works with pool balls.
The site is not finished, but I was just wondering more how it looks so far.
