New Shaft Feel

You know when you get your new cue / or shaft from a cue maker, it just feels great, after playing with it for like a year i can't figure out how to get it that way again. Is this a trade secrect or can someone let me in on returning my shaft to like new condition?

Take it back to a cuemaker?

You could try cleaning it, and lightly sanding it with some very fine paper. Then wax and buff it.
