For what it's worth, if the cue means that much to you your going to have to send the butt of the cue to whoever does the work why not send it to Pete and have the cue refurbished, I personally have all my work done by them and swear by them. I think it would be a great justice to your family and your cue if you entrusted it to a cue maker of that caliber.

It does, I was down to either pete or bill schick, more people seem to suggest pete....
