New SHOWMAN and JUSTIS delivered

Scott, Lisa, Sean

Thanks for the comments. Cue and case are doing well. Showman wants to get to the pool hall but he will have to wait, I am not well enough for a game yet.

Thanks for the comments Jimmy. The Showman will not be going anywhere. John is a great, great man and such a nice guy.

Murray Tucker is the best person to describe the wrap. I asked for opinions on what wrap to have on the cue and Murray sent John one of his own leather samples. Thats what ended up on the cue. It feels amazing. Murray......if you are out there....can you lend a hand in describing this wrap?

Si

The leather came from JW Petree. His leather is the best I have ever worked with. I don't know what he calls that color but it is probably on his web site.

The finished cue looks great Si and I love the tooling on the Justis.

Yes a good week indeed Myron. Hope that Szam is treating you well, you know where I am if you get bored:)

Si
The Szam is doing great, the Black Boar is now keeping company with the Szam while my newest player will be a hoppe Searing (just picked it up last week). Need to get out myself when time permits.

Keeping you at the top of the list should I get bored!
Myron

Thanks

Murray, thanks for the response. I have an order right now with JW. I will talk to him about this particular leather. I have a couple of amboyna cues in the works and am looking for the right choice for each.

Cheers, Murray. The wrap has really set this cue off.

Marylane said the abalone notched diamonds and dots really twinkle in the light and they really do! Awesome effect.

john has been my fav untouchable cuemaker for some time now. if i had to wait he'd be worth it. i emailed him to try and set something up but he wont return my emails. anyone have a #??? he is one of the few i dont know or havent delt with yet.
John IS Great to deal with...
He has Internet, but REALLY SLOOWWWW internet"
You can get his # from his site. give him a call, He will return your call.
I must say, His work IS worth waiting for, His cues play great"

Man that's a beautiful cue. I can't view threads like this at home because when someone quotes the original poster and puts the pics in their post too, it takes forever to load.

That just ain't fair, John. Not fair at all. Give your fellow cuemakers a break... take a decade off!

JWP

I love

how the case and cue compliment each other in looks. Very nice taste, very sharp!!
