It's good to hear you're up and running. How's it going so far? Do the people like the format and full races?
We took the summer session off from 9 ball, but I'm expecting it to pick up again in the fall. We've been playing with 5 or 6 teams so far, but I think we'll be able to add a couple more in the fall session.

So far so good. Last week was the first week of actual league play. the week before we got all the players together to go over a few things and have a small 5 dollar buy in tournament which I placed 2nd in.
It's still in the infant phases and this is only the 2nd TAP 9 ball league in the area. There is another one a little south of us but still in MD. So its new for everybody.
The full races format I think is great. I like that a bit better then ball count just for my own experience since I like to gamble every now and then. Cant bet 10 dollars on a ball count race in 9 ball, but you can in a race to 5 ya know? This gets you more prepared for comboing the 9 in anyway you can and yet still makes it fair for all levels of players.
For the most part, those who shot APA and are in this league like the change to full races, but everyone else on the league is still pretty new to league at all. I think we have a total of 5 teams. Hopefully we will have a 6th by next week.
