Why the butt?Juan, could you tell us about the butt?
Tiger makes it look like they do not want to sell Fortis shafts. Can't try them anywhere. Their website doesn't show dealers.I have tried five or six cf shafts. Each played differently on different butts. Or, maybe, they are best with certain brands.
My Revo 12.4 played meh on four different Joss butts, but is a player on my 2002 Falcon. That year, I believe, Falcon was producing Predator's butts which may explain why it feels fight.
Others may buy the Tiger cf based on your thread, but they really should know the full cue.
I am sorry, I just noticed this question. I use several butts with my Fortis shaft. They all feel a bit different, but they all play well with the shaft. None of them require any real adjustment when switching from butt to butt. I use the following:Juan, could you tell us about the butt?
Thank you for the update.I am sorry, I just noticed this question. I use several butts with my Fortis shaft. They all feel a bit different, but they all play well with the shaft. None of them require any real adjustment when switching from butt to butt. I use the following:
-Tiger TL-2
-Predator Sang Lee 4 (this is my favorite, and feels the most solid to me)
-Predator Le Road 8
-Jacoby HB-2 ( this is my second favorite playing Butt with this shaft. It is a more rear weighted feeling than the other butts but also feels super solid, not that the other 2 don't.)
As a side note, The shaft fit super snug on the Predator butts, and flat out tight on the Jacoby butt. I had Eddie Cohen rerun a radial tap through the shaft and now it fits perfect on the predators and on the tiger. I havent retried it on the Jaboby yet.
