Please define "limited run". Does this mean they will be made sparingly on a continuing basis, or is this a 1 time run... and why?

Good question Chris.
The reason why is a limited run is because of the aging process of the leather being used for these black tips. There are no dies on this tip.

Any word on how the X-Pro MSRP $249.00 plays? I am interested in trying this shaft out but it's hard to drop that kind of change without some sort of review..

I like the play of the OB-2 and am curious how the deflection of this shaft compares with it? I'm assuming that I can get this shaft for a 3/8x10 cue?

The X-Pro has an awesome solid feel, nothing to compare with the Z2.
On testing done by Tiger, this shaft has even a lower level of deflection than the Z2.
I tried the shaft I really, really like it. You won't go wrong with it.
