New to AZ

Welcome

I lived in Chicago in the early 90's and played a lot with Don Feeney at Carlos Billiard Acadamy. A world full of knowlage and a real nice guy. Enjoy the fourm.

Tucson9ball, I will have to corner my son and get him to snap me a couple of pics. Hell, I can't find the others. That is if I can figure out how to put them on here. (lol) My cue is only one of their earlier four pointers, but she sure shoots fine. I was reading all the posts and looking at the pics everyone has. Man, they are sharp. They keep saying how much better they play, than the old ones. I will have to see that, so I am looking forward to running into someone who has one, and hit a few with it, and see for myself. I love the way mine plays, someone else might not. I think all the top cue makers make some excellent cues.

Jonesy, When I spent the day with Feeney, and we were at the hot dog place eating lunch, he was talking about all the characters in the game he knew, and I was telling him about some of mine. Well, I happened to mention this guy Bill D. who never had his entry fee for the tournaments and was a total a..h... when you had to play him. Feeney got this funny look on his face, and said, that dam guy has owed me $10 for ten years. We cracked up. I couldn't believe a world renowned teacher got stuck for $10 by this dip stick. But that is what makes this game great, all the different characters. Anyway, a few months later Bill came into this little pool room called Cricket's and Cues in Hickory Hills that opened, where I played, because I lived about a block away. He was showing off a really nice upper end cue his girlfriend had bought him. A couple weeks later he went to watch a Pro Tourney in Chicago, and lost all his money and new cue to E Reyes. True story, you just can't make this stuff up.

Excuse me for asking but what did you have on your hot dog?

BVal

hot dog

I always have relish, ketchup, tomatoes, and just a few onion chips. I could never remember, but this is what I usually have on my dog if they have it. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. (lol)
