Greetings to All,
I'm new to the forum. I'm from New York and I'm not the best pool player, but I love the game and truly appreciate a nice looking/playing cue. Here are a couple from my collection that I'd like to share. Please excuse my poor picture taking abilities, my digicam is kinda old.
First up is an early Cognoscenti from Joe Gold, perhaps one of the first 20 cues Joe Gold made. Typical G-10 glass epoxy joint pin. Very dark solid cocobolo nose and butt sleeve. Szamboti type rings (a,b,c,d,e) and a highly figured birdseye maple wrap. Very light cue weighing in at 18.2 oz.
Next is a Mike Bender cue I just recently picked up from Cueaddicts.com (big thanks to Jeff and Sean). 5 birdseye maple points into an ebony forearm. Black, brown, purple, white veneers. Silver track type rings (a,b,c,d,e). Black with white speck linen wrap and a birdseye maple butt sleeve with ebony cap. One of the prettiest Bender's I have seen and it plays very nice.
Enjoy!
