I just watched a new video on PROPOOLVIDEO.com
I Never heard of this guy before Jimmy Wales BUT DANG CAN HE PLAY.
Anyone know of him? Is he always acting cooky around the table, or was it just excitement? He lost the set, but I dont think I would play the guy without a bit of weight; especially in a short set.
 
Jimmy Wales was originally from Albany, GA and in the early to mid 90's he was always around in action at tournys and such in the SE. I believe his dad owned or owns a pool room in Albany and he was a 'natural'. I am not sure what happened to him, he had the potential to be a top notch player. As for his style of play, no one ever accused him of being boring to watch.
 
Jimmy Wales has game, that is evident in the video against TK. Too bad he doesnt seem to follow it like he should, if he did I am sure you would hear a lot more about him.
Maybe we can get him again D. Favor.
 
That guy was really fun to watch. I think he almost impaled Kennedy with his cue a few times though:eek: He could almost be crowned the "poolroom conductor" the way moves his cue around to "direct" the balls after he shoots
