Now that I've retired I finally decided to go to work! SO.... I built a new website devoted entirely to 3Cushion Billiards. The site covers International, National and local news, stories and events. There are lots of great features:

  • US & World 3Cushion News
  • Where-to-play directory with inside/outside pictures, map & description of the tables
  • Events calendar - International, USBA & local tournaments - there are hundreds in 2016 already in the calendar - really!
  • 3Cushion Champions around the world - from every country and region with stories and pictures.
  • Essential Resources - Table manufacturers, cue makers, mechanics, organizations, etc.
  • Videos, instruction, and... well... you can click around for yourself.

Here's the link to the Home Page: http://www.3cushionbilliards.com

Today I started a campaign to promote the 2016 USBA 3-Cushion National Championship. I have a running story up on the home page that links to a list of who qualified, the tournament results and a photo gallery of the players. This article will continue to be updated through the national tournament in March.

Here's the story link:

We also tweet stories and event reminders. If you're on twitter follow @3CBilliards.

Thanks for taking a look! I welcome your thoughts and of course any updates for the 3Cushion Billiard community.

Wow, at first glance this looks first rate. I look forward to exploring it in detail. What is the best way to go about adding a place to play to your list? Amazingly my local senior center just got its 2nd 3c table - original one a heated european, the "new" one a reclaimed American style old Brunswick.

Thanks to all for the kind words...

If anyone wishes to add to the site (upcoming local tournament, billiard room for where-to-play directory, or even contribute a story for the home page) you can send me a PM through AZBiliards. Send me your email or cell phone and I will contact you directly!

By the way... I constantly scour the web for 3C Billiards information.... so....

KiisedOut... are you referring to he Senior Activity Center in Greeley?

Got that one up already!!!

HI Doug,

I too retired. Hope to start playing more 3c and continue to promote Verhoeven tables.
Nice website!

Yup, that's the one, super. Now come visit us.

Great website Doug. "The convergence of sport, science and beauty". Love it.

Hey, Bert, it was great to see you play on video in some of the Kozoom matches. It was a little ironic after your laudatory column about Mr.Jaspers that you and Mr, Hofman combined to knock him out in the group stage of the Biljartpoint Masters. It shows the volatile nature the game can sometimes take.

That's an ultra-diplomatic way of telling the truth. In fact, I lost big to Jaspers and Hofman beat him. Dick was really unlucky, that tournament.

Bert... glad you like our tag line. To all... thanks for your kind words and for taking the time to check out the site...

I posted a new story today with the results of the Sunday qualifier at Edgie's Billiards in Milpitas California (Allen Castillo wins):

I also added more pictures to the photo gallery of players who qualified for the nationals so far:

More new articles and features in the works!

Outstanding job on your new web site, very impressive. Perhaps you should offer the folks that design and maintain the usba.net site some help in what modern web sites and content looks like. Sorry, couldn't help myself...
