New wrap for Poison VX jump / break

Hello,

Was wondering if anyone has replaced the rubber grip on one of these cues. Im not a big fan of the rubber grip and it is starting to peel off in spots anyway. I was thinking a stacked leather wrap would be pretty cool. Anyone know if it is doable? Thanks!

No. The undercut is too deep to change it to any other other type of wrap. I suppose you might try some way to build up the channel but that, in turn, changes the cue.

There was some talk on here a few weeks ago about linen over leather wraps.it might even possible to do leather over linen.you could achieve a build up either way.i've never tried either myself,just thought I would mention the idea.

From my experience, double stacking wraps isn't a good idea.
In order to build the wrap-channel, it's best to do it with wood, in this case veneer.
I've done many Predator cues for Sey using this method and was pleased with the results.

Sorry to hijack this one, but the rubber has lifted a little on my BK2 sport - does anyone know what's best way of sealing it down again? It's the long joint that runs through the middle of the cue, from the butt cap to the joint.

Glue? Heat? How do you reseal a rubber wrap?
