Long story:
I know these two guys who are both in there mid sixties, both are best friends, and both are going to be retiring in febuary. They both are great customers of ours, one has 3 of our cues, the other 4. They both love Bacote, and Cocobolo. Any way, about 6 months ago they started talking to me about building cue's, and what it would take, so I went through it with them, and we discussed the cheap way, the mid range way, our way, and Holy Sh!t no way.
Any way they got ahold of me 3 months ago telling me they wanted to get started with getting wood, so they ordered 200 shafts, 10 moose joints, and 20 moose ferrules. and some other stuff.
Any way they came for a visit this past week, and after seeing our setup, and they said this is no way to spend their retirement, They have passed on the shafts, and refuse to take a refund on the moose antler, they know I stopped working on some cue's to cut it up for them, and they insist on paying me for my time, well I told them I didn't feel right about it, and asked if it would be alright to pass there antler on to other cuemakers, they thought that sounded very nice on my part, so here is the deal,
I have two boxes with 100 shafts in each, I have 10 joints (various sizes) and 20 ferrules made from moose antler, NO BUTT CAPS.
the next 2 who buy 100 shafts from me will get 5 Joints, and 10 ferrules, each or if someone wants 200 shafts, they get all the joints and ferrules.
Thats a $125 value FREE, or a $250 value free.
