I was browsing at Barnes & Noble yesterday when a book in the bargain book section jumped out at me. Jersey Red was on the cover and the book was called Hustler Days by R.A. Dyer. It mainly covers Jersey Red, Minnesota Fats and Luther Lassiter but there are others covered also.
It was indeed a steal at $7.98. I have read a few books on pool and am always interested in real stories about pool players. I'm going to have to pick up Freddie the Beards book next I think it's called The Gospool of Banks. Philw

Actually, you should get both of Freddy's books, becasue they both have great stories in them. Hell, you get some great banking instructions at no extra cost too, what a steal! ;)

ALSO...DO NOT MISS Amarillo Slim Preston's book, In a World Full of Fat People. You will not be sorry.

Donovan, Freddie is a friend of mine and I'm sure I've heard many of the stories firsthand. No one can tell a story like Freddie he has a great delivery I can't wait to see if that is evident in book form. Thanks, Philw
