Efren get $65,000, for 4th place, amazing if you think about it, the 2005 world 8 ball championship 4th place price was $5,000, that's 13 times more money!
Ralf wins $50,000 again thats like winning a few major tournaments, and if I'm not mistaken the most he has won in one tournament, probably close to what he has won for an entire year!
Stalev gets $40,000 for 6th place, 6th place is at most a few grand in most large tournaments and it's the same amount as if he had won the US Open 9 ball tournament
I bet all 4 guys are very happy and should be very proud of a wonderful performance, they only have to wait a few more weeks for an even larger payday!
These figures are not just improving on things, It's whole new world to pool players, I just pray to the lord that we get more and more sponsors, Eurosport showing it live is certainly a good start, and now OLN is repeating the heck out of the KOTH, and they would not do that if it was not drawing an audience.
I think all in all the IPT is above my expectations at this point. I can't wait to see what the next one brings.
