You know, I am one of those guys that almost never clicks on a link to another site. But Mike just recently asked if he could put up my recent, "Open Letter to My Sponsor" post and I said, "Sure" though I was not particularly familiar with his site.

Not just because he posted my story, but noodling around it a bit, I was really impressed with the high quality content. You might want to check it out -- it has good stuff by many of the usual suspects:

Your story is just icing on the cake. POOLSTUDENTS.NET has some great writers and great stories.

And oh yes -- the 14.1 Challenge -- three of the longest innings of my life :-) I do owe a big "thank you" to Dave for taking the time and effort to put commentary to that clip. Though painful to watch it was a pleasure listening to him. Thanks, Blackjack.

Very touching story, Lou. I enjoyed reading it and finding out more about you and your dear wife. I am so glad to hear of the PET scan news. I am glad she has you to take care of her.

Thanks, Trigger. (Where was you in Vegas?)

Even better news -- the PET scan was good and she had a good CAT scan a couple of days ago and the oncologist gave the green light to have the port in her chest removed! *That* is a great sign :-D
