Nick Varner cues

I know a guy that has a Nick Varner cue he says cost a lil over $500. It just doesn't look like it should. The cue is black, may or may not be ebony, and has floating points and some spear shapes in the butt sleeve that are some kind of shiny blue material. I don't know it is inlaid or decal. I have searched the net and can't find a site that shows different models and prices. Any idea where to look? Thanks Bob.

Nick Varner cues are production cues most likely produced overseas in china. Joss cues in the 80's produced cues with NV's name on them as well as Falcon cues with NV's name on them (90's). However the "Nick Varner" cues you see today are cheap production cues...
